I hope, one day, to be able to post something really positive to this blog. However, today is not the day.

I was, quite frankly, shocked to wake up this morning and find the reports around the world that #45 had sent troops in to Venezuela to kidnap their president and bring him to the United States to face Criminal charges. This is almost unspeakably obscene and I do not know how America is going to recover from this. This was nothing more than a unprovoked attack on a Sovereign Nation. There was no call for it, and, it has generated widespread criticism around the world. Of course it has! The United States is proving not only to be a rogue nation, but, a truly dangerous one.

I also saw a report that apparently #45 has stated that America will be “running Venezuela until a new government can be put in place.” This is nothing more than dictatorial imperialism and cannot be allowed to stand. This Administration has gone too far. It is well past time for it to be removed from office and adults who are more or less sane be put in as caretakers until new elections can be held.

The joints chief of staff should also resign entirely, as they did not have the courage or the backbone to actually support and honor their oath to protect the Constitution from all enemies, domestic and foreign. These cowardly bastards rolled over like a whipped dog and did exactly what the mango Mussolini told them to do. They need to be replaced with honorable people who understand the oath of service they have taken and will actually live up to it.

Anyone who thinks that this is a trivial problem is fooling themselves. This is an act of war and is likely to have long-term repercussions that may very well end up with many, young, Americans dead on the battlefield. It is a good thing that Venezuela is not a nuclear power, as if they were, I suspect that we would see the repeat of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in the United States.

Do not think that if the above scenario happens that any of us are going to be Untouched by it. Whether you are MAGA, neutral, or liberal, your children and grandchildren are going to be the ones getting their heads blown off on the battlefield. If you are okay with this, I pity you and I pity your family for your lack of care and love for them.

Perhaps when I calm down a little bit I shall have more reasoned analysis to post here. But right now I am so enraged that I am of the opinion that it is well past time for a military coup that will remove the current Administration completely, and appoint a caretaker government until elections can be held. Also, I am firmly of the opinion that #45, and his minions should end up in The Hague, facing trial for human rights violations and the destruction of international law. This cannot stand! And we must do what it takes to stop America from being destroyed by this traitorous bastard Who currently occupies the Oval Office and is raping every good thing in the country.

Update 1

Before anyone raises objections to my previous remarks, I do want to point out that I’m quite aware of the fact that Maduro is a scumbag, and a truly terrible person. I think that he needs to be tried and imprisoned very long, long time. However, the way for this to happen should have been that the citizens of Venezuela rise up, overthrow him, and then turn him over to the United States for trial. This of course is not what happened.
There are major problems with the actions taken by the mango Mussolini,
First off, this illegal action did nothing to improve the government in Venezuela. The same oligarchs who were running the government, are still there! His vice president is still in office, which means that nothing is going to change in the country. This is going to leave the citizens of the country in the same pit that they were in with their dictator in charge, but, with a distinct possibility that things will go even further south because of the complications related to the strong man being removed from office.
Secondly, #45’s claim that America is going to run Venezuela until a transition can be made to a stable government is nonsense. He is already announced that he’s going to let the oil companies come in and occupy and run the country.
Thirdly, while much of the government is still intact, there is a power vacuum now and we have no way of knowing how it will be filled. Someone is going to take Maduro’s place. That is a given. However, who will do it is open to question as I do not think that #45 has the intellectual capabilities or understanding of reality to evaluate who would be best in the office of President there. On top of this, he is already crapped on the opposition candidate who is a strong leader that would work well to lead the country. His misogyny, and hatred for anyone who does not kiss his ass, is out in the open for sure.
