Greetings and Salutations…

It has been far too long, but, the Fall zipped by so quickly. The hives had a burst of enthusiasm for the fall flowers and such, and, now are pretty much packed in for the Winter. I knew it was getting to that time a few weeks ago, when I stopped by to see how they were doing, and found them ejecting drones. It is a cruel and arbitrary world out there.

Right now, the area is getting ANOTHER load of rain dumped on it. It has been raining heavily and steadily for about 6 hours now, and, from the weather map and such, it is going to stay terribly damp until tomorrow afternoon. Since I have some emergency work to do on the truck, I HOPE that the weather dries soon, and, stays warm. I expect it will drop to near freezing temperatures fairly soon, though, as that seems to happen when I have to wrench on a vehicle!
